Blend dates and water in a food processor or Vitamix until pureed.
Add almond butter, coconut flour, dehydrated strawberries, and date puree to mixing bowl. Mix until an even consistency.
Form about a dozen balls and place in freezer for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Place a pan with shredded coconut and slivered almonds in the oven for 2-2 1/2 minutes until toasted.
Remove energy balls from freezer and roll in the toasted mixture.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. May also store in an airtight container in the freezer for 1-2 months.
